The HP DesignJet 2800CP printer is a premium-performance, professional, photo-quality, color printer for print service providers.  Thanks to productivity-tuned print modes, the HP DesignJet 2800CP printer generates 29 square feet of output per hour in high-speed Best/Photo mode and 47 square feet per hour in high-speed Normal/Productivity mode. These high-speed print modes use HP-developed Varware language and wide mask technology with an external EFI Fiery X2-CP RIP.

The HP DesignJet 2800CP printer delivers 600-dpi print resolution, for photo-quality images with brilliant, accurate colors and smooth, subtle skin tones.  The EFI Fiery RIP provides faster image processing, advanced job control management and accurate color management.  Longer periods of unattended printing are made possible by the optional take-up reel and large-capacity ink system which enables about 2,000 square feet of output between ink system changes
